Website Plan Terms

Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1.1 "We", "us" and "our" means Steven-Jon Lewis, trading as Manifest Media Solutions, Andover, Hampshire, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@manifestmediasolutions.com or on WhatsApp at +44 7355 378333. "You" and "your" means the business that signs up to a plan.

1.2 These terms apply to our monthly website plans (Starter and Premium), to custom websites and to our hosting and care add-on. Our general Terms and Conditions also apply. If the two disagree, these terms apply.

1.3 You agree to these terms when you tick the box to accept them at checkout, or when you confirm in writing (including by email or WhatsApp) that you want to go ahead.

1.4 You confirm you are signing up for business purposes, not as a consumer.

2. The plans

2.1 Starter: £100 per month. For new and smaller businesses. Includes a custom-designed website of up to 5 pages; your domain name, registered in your business's name and renewed for you; hosting on Vercel's global network, with HTTPS; a mobile-friendly, SEO-ready website, with Google Search Console set up; a contact form with Cloudflare spam protection; cookie-free visitor statistics with Cloudflare Web Analytics; 1 small update a month; and support by WhatsApp and email, with replies within 1 working day.

2.2 Premium: £250 per month. For established businesses. Includes everything in Starter, plus up to 15 pages with a fully bespoke design; a blog or news section; online booking or payments built in; Google Business Profile set up and optimised; a monthly SEO and performance check, with a short report; unlimited small updates, handled first; and 20% off our graphic design and social media design, including single designs and packages.

2.3 Not included. Business email accounts, online shops, premium domain names and payment provider fees are quoted separately.

2.4 Small updates. A small update is a change that takes us up to 1 hour, such as changing text, swapping photos, updating prices or opening hours, or adding a news post. Bigger changes, such as new pages beyond your plan's limit or new features, are quoted separately before we start. On Starter, your 1 small update is for that month and does not carry over to the next month.

2.5 "Working day" means Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

3. Payment

3.1 There is no setup fee.

3.2 You pay your plan monthly in advance. Card payments are taken through our payment provider, Stripe, and later payments are taken automatically on the same date each month. If you would rather, or if card payment through Stripe is not available where your business is based, you can pay by PayPal or bank transfer instead, on the same date each month. Your first monthly payment starts your website build.

3.3 Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. If we become VAT registered in future, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and VAT may then be added to your monthly price.

3.4 Your price is fixed. The monthly price you sign up at stays the same for as long as you stay on that plan. If we change our prices, the new prices apply only to new customers, or to you if you change plan.

4. Building your website

4.1 After your first payment we start building your website. We may begin with demo content (placeholder text and images) so you can see progress early. Demo content is only there to show the layout and is never published as your real content.

4.2 You agree to send us your content (text, logo, photos, prices, opening hours and similar) within 30 days of your first payment.

4.3 If we have not received your content within 30 days, we may launch your website with the content we have, using information you have given us or that is publicly available about your business, with your permission. Your monthly payments continue whether or not you have sent your content.

4.4 We will show you the website before it goes live and make reasonable changes you ask for. Most Starter websites take 1 to 2 weeks once we have your content.

4.5 You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us, and that it is accurate and lawful.

5. Your minimum term, changing plans and cancelling

5.1 Each plan has a minimum term of 12 months, starting on the date of your first payment.

5.2 After 12 months, your plan continues month to month. You can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days' notice in writing (email or WhatsApp is fine). There is no exit fee after 12 months.

5.3 Before 12 months, you can still cancel, but the exit fee in section 7 applies.

5.4 Moving up to Premium. You can move from Starter to Premium at any time. The Premium price starts from your next monthly payment. Your 12-month minimum term does not restart; it still runs from your first payment.

5.5 Moving down to Starter. You can move from Premium to Starter at any time. The Starter price starts from your next monthly payment, and your 12-month minimum term does not restart. Your website will need to fit the Starter plan (up to 5 pages, without the Premium-only features), and we will help you choose what to keep. Keeping more than Starter includes is quoted separately.

5.6 Moving down during your first 12 months. Because Premium websites take more work to build, moving down to Starter during your first 12 months has a one-off fee: half the difference between the two plan prices (£75) for each full month left in your 12-month minimum term. For example, moving down after 3 months costs £75 × 9 = £675. There is no fee to move down after 12 months.

6. Missed payments

6.1 If a monthly payment fails, this is what happens:

  • Day 0: the payment fails or does not arrive. If you pay by card, our payment provider will retry it automatically and email you a link to update your payment details. If you pay by PayPal or bank transfer, we will remind you by email or WhatsApp.
  • Day 5: if the payment is still outstanding, we will send you a final warning by email and WhatsApp.
  • Day 7: if the payment is still outstanding, we will take your website offline. Nothing is deleted.
  • When you pay: we will put your website back online, normally within 1 working day.

6.2 If a payment is still outstanding 30 days after it was due, we may end your plan. If this happens during your first 12 months, the exit fee in section 7 applies, as well as the payment you missed.

6.3 Your website being offline does not pause your plan or your monthly payments.

7. Exit fee (only during the first 12 months)

7.1 If you cancel your plan, or we end it under section 6.2 or 11.2, before the end of your 12-month minimum term, you pay an exit fee.

7.2 The exit fee is half of your monthly plan price for each full month left in your 12-month minimum term. It goes down every month and reaches zero at the end of month 12. For example:

Plan ends afterStarter (£100 per month)Premium (£250 per month)
1 month£550£1,375
3 months£450£1,125
6 months£300£750
9 months£150£375
11 months£50£125
12 months or more£0£0

7.3 The exit fee reflects the design and build work we do at the start of your plan, which your monthly payments are meant to cover over the 12 months. It is not a penalty.

7.4 The exit fee is based on the plan you are on when your plan ends.

7.5 Paying the exit fee ends your plan. It does not transfer ownership of the website to you; see section 8 if you want to keep it.

8. Your domain name, your content and our website

8.1 Your domain name is always yours. We register your domain name with your business as the legal owner (the "registrant"), and we manage it and pay for its renewal while you are on a plan. If you ask, we will help you move your domain name to another provider as soon as the domain registry allows it (most domains cannot be transferred within 60 days of being registered or transferred). For most domains this means giving you a transfer code; for .uk domains we change the domain's tag to your new provider's. We will do this whether or not you are still on a plan, and whether or not you owe us money.

8.2 Your content is yours. Your logo, photos, text and other material you give us stay yours. If your plan ends, we will send you a copy of your content on request.

8.3 The website design and code are ours. We own the design, code and files of the website we build for you. While your plan is active, you have a licence to use the website for your business. After your 12-month minimum term, you can buy the website outright for a one-off fee of £250 (Starter) or £500 (Premium). Once paid, we will transfer the website files to you, or to a provider you choose, and ownership of the website passes to you.

8.4 Buying the website before 12 months. You can buy your website outright at any time. During your first 12 months, the price is the exit fee in section 7 plus the buy-out fee in section 8.3. For example, buying a Starter website after 3 months costs £450 + £250 = £700. Once paid, your plan ends and the website is yours.

8.5 If your plan ends and you have not bought the website, we will take it offline. You keep your domain name and your content, and you can point your domain name at a new website.

8.6 Some items on your website, such as stock photos, fonts or plugins, are used under their own licences. If an item's licence cannot be transferred to you, we will tell you which items are affected when you buy your website, and help you replace them or buy your own licence.

9. Custom websites and hosting and care

9.1 Custom websites are quoted per project. Half is paid to start, and the rest when you approve the website, before it goes live. Once you have paid in full, the website, including its design and code, is yours.

9.2 Hosting and care for custom websites is £25 per month, with no minimum term. It covers hosting on Vercel with HTTPS, managing and renewing your domain name, and keeping spam protection and visitor statistics running. Updates are quoted separately. You can cancel with 30 days' notice in writing.

10. Our responsibilities

10.1 We will build and look after your website with reasonable skill and care.

10.2 We use third-party services, including Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (spam protection and statistics) and Stripe (payments). We are not responsible for outages or changes caused by these providers, but we will do what we reasonably can to restore your website quickly.

10.3 We do not promise any particular position in Google or any number of enquiries or sales.

10.4 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or data.

11. Your responsibilities

11.1 You must not use the website for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.

11.2 We may end your plan with immediate effect if you seriously break these terms, for example by using the website unlawfully. The exit fee in section 7 applies if this happens in your first 12 months.

12. Data protection

12.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

12.2 If your website collects personal information about your customers (for example through a contact or booking form), you are responsible for that information and we handle it on your behalf only to run your website. We keep it secure, use only the service providers named in section 10.2, tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting it, and delete it or return it to you when your plan ends.

13. Changes to these terms

13.1 We may update these terms. We will give you at least 30 days' written notice of any change that affects you. Changes do not apply to your current 12-month minimum term unless you agree.

14. Law

14.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. This applies wherever your business is based.
